Baseline comes from a surveying term which means a "line upon which others depend". It is also the name of the road, commonly known as 8 mile, that dissects Woodward Avenue in Detroit, where our founders meet.

Our team is made up of collaborative artisans who not only edit with furious passion but craft sound design, color, and bespoke musical scores all in service of the story. Our ethos is centered around revealing truth and exposing emotions. Our litmus test will always be make you feel something, that lump in the throat, a tear in your eye, a visceral "hell yeah" or LOL is sound therapy.
